  Book about iconic underground Rock’n’Roll/Garage band Dead Moon (1987-2006) from Portland, Oregon who toured across the globe throughout the 90s. Band leader Fred Cole started his musical career in the mid 60s and played in dozens of rock/psychedelic bands like The Lollipop Shoppe, The Lords, The Torpedos, King Bee etc. In the 80s he formed The Rats with his wife Toody and put out three records. The country fueled bands The Western Front and The Range Rats followed up. Disillusioned by the music industry and due to a lack of success the Coles started their own record label Tombstone Music and built their own instrument store in Clackamas, OR. Along with drummer Andrew Loomis they formed DEAD MOON in 1987 …
