About: In July 2015 I was honored to take part in a Signal Fire hiking trip to the Blue Mountains in Eastern Oregon. 12 artists from Europe and the US were invited to spent one week in the Umatilla Wilderness Area at the John Day River together. A Reader with different texts about the idea of wilderness (provided by trip leader Ryan Pierce) gave different perspectives on the topic.
The zine is a compilation of own b/w photographs and some interesting quotes from the Reader that stuck with me.
